The Community of Madrid will launch the Youth Solution Plan : a new industrialized housing project that in its first phase will involve the construction of 1,200 rental homes at a price below 600 euros aimed at those under 35 years of age .
This was announced by the Minister of the Environment, Housing and Agriculture of the Community of Madrid, Paloma Martín , at a breakfast organized by Europa Press, where she specified that this initiative will begin in the municipalities of Madrid , Alcorcón , Ciempozuelos , Colmenar Viejo , Navalcarnero and Torrejón de la Calzada .
Martín explained that the houses, which will be about 70 square meters , will be built on public land in the Community of Madrid and with private investment, using the latest industrialized construction techniques, to reduce prices and execution times, in addition to guaranteeing the maximum energy efficiency.
This initiative will be aimed at those under 35 years of age with the clear objective of helping their emancipation and, thanks to public-private collaboration, it will be ” at no cost to the citizen “, he detailed.
On this point, he stressed that the Community is committed to this type of measure compared to others such as the one promoted by the Government of Pedro Sánchez, such as youth social rental bonds, which when applied have not given the required results.
” Our solution is to work on the supply of housing in the market , generate the conditions for more land and more offers, because Madrid is attractive to live in and we must act in this sense more than in demand”, he stressed.
In addition, the counselor has detailed other measures that the regional government has implemented to curb problems related to lack of land, excessive bureaucratization and occupation. In this line, it has advanced that, before the end of the summer, the regional Executive will launch a second tender within the ‘Live Plan’ for the construction of another 1,137 in Boadilla del Monte , Pinto and Colmenar Viejo .
